How Do Email Notifications Work?
There are three types of email notifications that you can choose to include in your referral program. These emails can be customized with any copy you want. You can also choose to not send the Referral Factory email notifications and just send emails from your own CRM that follow your regular business processes.
First Email Notification
Person referring – an email will get sent to an existing customer when they become a referrer (fills in their details on Step 1 of your campaign). This email would generally give referrers more information about how your program works, what the reward is for referring friends and even a strong to call to action to keep referring friends.
Person invited – an email will also get sent to the person invited when they sign up (fills in their details on Step 3 of your campaign). This email would generally provide more information on your product or service, how they can get their incentive and what the process is going forward.
Second Email Notification
Person referring – once a referral has been qualified you can email the person referring to let them know that they have generated a successful referral and will be rewarded.
Person invited – you can also choose to email the person invited once they have converted to welcome them to your platform or thank them for becoming a customer.
Person referring – you can email your referrals at intervals of your choosing to remind them about your referral program and to keep referring friends.
Person invited – if a referred lead doesn’t convert straight away you can also send them reminders to until they are successfully qualified.
To customize these email notifications, head to your Notifications tab.
Here you will find a drop down menu where you can select the email that you want to edit. Use the Add Blocks icon to add:
- a title,
- more copy,
- and buttons
