While exploring Referral Factory, we think it will be helpful to understand the basic terminology we use inside the platform. Below is a table with the key concepts you'll need to know.
|Dashboard||This is the home screen you will see when you log into Referral Factory. You will see your account statistics like reach, total users, referrals and, referrals per person.|
|Campaign Builder||This is where you build your referral campaigns.|
|The Person Referring||This is the person who will be referring your business to their friends, colleagues, and network.|
|The Person Invited||This is the new lead, new customer, or subscriber that has been invited by a friend, colleague, or someone in their network.|
|Users||Anyone in your referral campaign - this includes both the person referring and the person invited.|
|Reward||This is the offer you give to the person referring when they refer someone who successfully converts. It can be a discount on your product, a cash reward, a voucher or, even swag.|
|Incentive||This is the offer you give to the person invited to encourage or incentivize them to convert. It can be a discount on your product, a cash reward, a voucher or, even swag.|
|Share Message||This is the text or message that accompanies the referral link when the person referring shares it with their friends.|
|Email Notifications||These are the emails that you can enable to automatically send to the person referring and the person invited.|
These emails are sent to the person referring to remind them to keep inviting friends. They can also be sent to the person invited to remind them to sign up or register. You can choose the intervals of each mail or choose to disable them completely.
|Outbound Email||This is the email address that all your email notifications will be sent from and any replies you get will be sent to that address.|
|Converted Referral||A person invited has taken the action that counts as a conversion and has essentially become a successful referral. This could be a sign-up, a purchase, an account created etc.|
|Outputs||These are all the ways you can get users to join your referral campaign as a person referring. For example, a link, a QR code, a button.|
