❓ The Share Message Isn't Updating After Changes

1. What is a Share Message?

Referral Factory gives you several tools to make it easy for people to refer. One of these is the share message, which can be passed along with the referral link when the person referring clicks one of the share buttons.

This is a great way to save the person referring the time of having to explain why they're sending their referral link and give the person invited more context about your business that encourages them to click. By prepopulating the message, you ensure a consistent and compelling introduction to your business and save your referrers valuable time.

2. How to Add or Edit a Share Message

→ From the Campaign Builder, navigate to Step 2 for the Person Referring.

→ Click the Share Icon.

→ Scroll down to see "Message Subject" and "Message Text"

→ Add your custom share message here.

💡 If your referral program is structured as a referral loop (i.e. if you're also asking the person invited to refer their friends) you can add a different share message for them in Step 2 for the Person Invited by following the same steps.

3. How the Share Message Looks on Different Platforms

Since each messaging or social app has its own unique layout and design, the share message you create will appear differently depending on the app you are using.

Here are some examples of how your share message will look on different apps:
