Tracking links are Referral Factoryโ€™s solution to make tracking referrals for your users much simpler. You can customize the pages on these links as much as youโ€™d like, and even enable a secure login so users have to verify their emails before checking their referral stats.

What Is A Campaign Tracking Link?

The tracking link allows your referrers to access their referral metrics, such as how many people they've invited and how many of those people have converted. The tracking link opens standalone pages separate from the other pages of your referral program.

If your users want to track their referrals they can navigate to the tracking link for your campaign. They will need to enter their email address to see their metrics.

How To Edit The Tracking Link Pages In Your Campaign

Please Note: that in order to access tracking links, you must first build a campaign inside Referral Factory.

Once you have built your campaign, you will see it in your Campaigns tab and click on the Edit Tracking Pages button.

Your referral tracking link pages for your users are fully editable - you can change the text, add images, use personalization, edit the button text, and even enable a secure login for your users. You can also choose which performance analytics you wish to show your referrers.

How To Customize Your Tracking Pages

Here you have two steps of your tracking pages where your users can see their results.

The main design of your tracking pages, including the logo, background, text, and button colors are pulled from your main campaignโ€™s design.

Tracking Pages - Step 1

In the first step of your tracking page, the referring person will enter the email to let the system find corresponding information about the referrals made.

You can edit landing pages by adding images, videos, additional content blocks, and buttons.

Tracking Pages - Step 2

All mentioned editing tools, such as having additional blocks of content, stats, leaderboards, visuals, videos, and buttons are also available for the second step of your tracking page. You can also add the referral link to this step as a reminder for your users to keep referring.

On this step, you can also add dynamic variables that will pull out the corresponding information of {First Name}, {Referrals}, {Converted Referrals}.

You can add the following metrics to your tracking pages:

๐Ÿ‘‰ Their referral metrics, including reach, referrals, and converted referrals.

๐Ÿ‘‰ The names of the referrals made as well as whether they have qualified (converted).

๐Ÿ‘‰ The referrer's conversion rate as a percentage.

โ€‹

๐Ÿ‘‰ The rewards a referrer has due as well as those that have already been issued.

๐Ÿ‘‰ If you are using Milestone rewards you can include that here too.

๐Ÿ‘‰ If you want to add additional gamification to your referral program you can include a referral leaderboard showing the top referrers for invited and or converted referral as a well as a countdown timer.

Another thing that you may notice on this page is the social media icons. These are being used the same way as in your referral campaign - they will just reissue the user with their SAME referral link and share buttons. These can also be turned off.

Tracking Page Settings

Your tracking pages have their own Settings tab. Here you can change the text of the button, which in our case is โ€œTrack Your Referrals โ€.

This is where you change the text - BUT BE CAREFUL IT WILL CHANGE EVERYWHERE

If you want your users to have an additional security layer while logging in to their personal tracking dashboard, you can enable User Verification. In this case, after submitting the email address, your users will get a verification code on their email. Only after being verified by the system your users will be able to log in.

*User verification feature is only available in Pro plan.

How Your Users Can Find Their Tracking Link (To Track Their Referrals)

There are two ways to access your referral tracking link๐Ÿ‘‡

Option 1 - You send your users their tracking links

โ†’ Navigate to your Campaigns tab.

โ†’ Open the campaign you want to get the tracking link for.

โ†’ Click on the Tracking Link button.

โ†’ Copy the tracking link and share it with your referrers in any way you choose.

Option 2 - Enable email notifications and Referral Factory will include the tracking link in the emails that go to your users

Referral Factory has also made it really easy for the person referring to keep track of their referrals by including the referral tracking link inside the email notifications that get sent to referrers.

Here is an example of one of those emails ๐Ÿ‘‡
