How To Track Your Sale Value From Your CRM or Payment Processor (For Commission-Based Rewards)

Use your CRM or Stripe to track sales and issue commission-based rewards. Referral Factory will auto-calculate reward values for you!

If you've integrated Referral Factory with your CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Pipedrive, Intercom, Monday) or payment processor (Stripe), you may be able to sync the sale or deal value automatically. This means that Referral Factory can automatically calculate the reward value without you having to manually enter what the Person Invited spent.

→ First, ensure that your integration is connected and you are automatically qualifying referrals using your integration.

→ While creating a Commission-Based Reward, you will be prompted to choose whether to track the sale value manually or via your integration, select “Pull from Integration”.

→ If applicable, select the object/module from which to track the data point.

→ Select the field from which to track the sale/deal value.

❗️If you are qualifying your referrals via Stripe, the total spend will be automatically tracked, you do not need to configure any settings in the rewards builder.

❗️You can only use this feature if you are qualifying your referrals via your integration. If you do not see the option to track the sale/deal value in your reward builder, it means you have not yet configured the campaign integration settings to automatically qualify referrals.

❗️You can only track properties/fields from the same module/object you are using to track qualification. For example, if you integrate with HubSpot and are qualifying successful referrals when a property in the Contact object changes, like Lead Status, you can only track the sale value from a property in the Contact object. If you would like to track the sale value from a different object, like the Deal object for example, you will also need to qualify using Deal Stage.

❗️It is unfortunately not possible to add this setting AFTER you have setup a reward. If you would like to track the sale value automatically, please deactivate your existing reward and create a new one.

❗️ Please note that this feature does not work with ServiceTitan integrations.
