βοΈ If you want to sync multiple referral campaigns with Monday, you will need to configure the integration for each campaign.

3.1. How To Sync Contacts from Monday Sales CRM with Referral Factory (and Generate Their Referral Links)
βοΈContacts that you sync will not be automatically notified or sent their referral link. If you would like to notify them, please use your own marketing channels or Referral Factory's once-off email feature. You can learn more about once-off emails here: π How To Create A Once-Off Email π
Before you configure the sync between Referral Factory and Monday, you will need to create a text column inside Monday to store each contact's referral link.
You can learn more about creating columns in Monday's help guide: π The Basics of Columns π
You can sync your Monday contacts from two places in the Referral Factory dashboard:
π From the Users Tab.
β Click Add Users.
β Click Sync Your CRM Contacts.
π From the Promote section inside the campaign builder.
β Click Generate referral links for your contacts by syncing them.
β First, choose which contacts you want to sync. You have the option to sync your contacts from a specific board and/or a specific group inside that board.
β Click Next.
β Then, map your contact's details from Monday to Referral Factory.
β Click Next.
β Then, using the new column that you have created in Monday, map the referral link.
β Click Next.
β If you would like to sync your Monday contacts on an ongoing basis, switch the toggle to on. In other words, every time you add a new contact in Monday who meets the criteria you set for the sync, they will be automatically added to your referral program and their referral link will be sent back to Monday.
β Click Start Sync.
β Success!
3.2. How To Send Users (Like Referred Leads) from Referral Factory to Monday Sales CRM
Referral Factory can automatically create a new item in a board of your choice in Monday when someone signs up to participate in your referral program. In most cases, you would only want to send referred users (the Person Invited) as these are your new leads. However, you can also send users who sign up to refer via the campaign join link (the Person Referring).
π‘ If you are automatically generating referral links for your contacts through the CRM sync and not allowing people to sign up for referral links via the campaign join link, you do not need to send direct users.
π‘ If you'd like to learn more about the difference between the Person Referring and the Person Invited, read this help guide:
This function must be configured from inside the campaign builder.
β Select the Campaigns tab from the left-hand menu bar.
β Click Edit Campaign.
β Once you're inside the campaign builder, select Integration from the bottom navigation bar.
How to Send The Person Invited (Referred Users)
β Use the dropdown menu to select the board on Monday where you want to send your new referred users (or the Person Invited).
β The next section of the page only applies if you want to automatically qualify a referral when a lead converts in Monday. β Before you begin mapping your data fields, decide which data you want to send from Referral Factory to Monday.

β Create the relevant columns in Monday. You may want to create columns for "Campaign Name" (if you are running multiple campaigns), "Referral Code" (this functions as a unique user ID), and "Referral Link". You may also want to create columns to store the details of the person who referred your new lead.
β Next, map your fields. Use the drop-down options to match the relevant data between Referral Factory and Monday. The options in the drop-downs will pull directly from your Monday account.
π‘ If you don't see the new columns you have created as options, try clicking the hard refresh button:
β You can also attach the information of the person who made the referral and you have 2 options for how to send this information to Monday:
- Option 1: You can map this information as text in additional columns on the item. Please be sure to add the relevant text columns in Monday. Map the fields to send the information to the columns you have created.
- Option 2: You can map this information as a connected item. For this function to work, you will need to add a Connect Boards column in Monday. First, select the connected board to which you want to link. Then, select the connect boards column you have created.
