How To Generate Referral Links for your CRM Contacts via a CRM Sync

You can sync all of your CRM contacts or a specific list of contacts with your referral program. This will allow you to add those contacts to your campaign and call their unique referral links back to your CRM πŸ‘

β†’ First, ensure that you have connected your CRM via the Settings tab. Please consult the following help guide articles depending on your CRM:

β†’ From inside your CRM, create a custom field or property for "Referral Link". Here is an example of creating a custom property in HubSpot.

β†’ Return to Referral Factory. From inside your campaign builder, navigate to the β€œPromote” tab.

β†’ Choose whether you want to sync all your contacts or a list of contacts.

β†’ Click Next.

Note that these options vary for each of the different integrations.

β†’ Map the data fields from your CRM to your Referral Factory campaign. Be sure to map al of the required form fields for your campaign.

β†’ Click Next.

β†’ Map the data fields from Referral Factory to the relevant fields or properties in your CRM. Be sure to map "Referral Link" to the custom field or property you have created in your CRM.

β†’ Click Next.

β†’ Before you confirm, you can choose to run the sync on an ongoing basis or to only do a once-off sync. The sync can also be toggled on and off from your campaign builder.

β†’ Click Start Sync.

How To Enable or Disable an Ongoing CRM Sync

Once you have configured a CRM sync, you have the option to toggle it on or off.

β†’ From inside your campaign builder, navigate to the β€œPromote” tab.

β†’ Use the toggle to switch your CRM on or off.
