Why Email Your Contacts Their Referral Links?

With Referral Factory, there are multiple ways to issue people with referral links to get them referring.

The most simple way is to share your campaign join link, where anyone can sign up to join your referral program and get their own unique referral link. However, if you already have the contact information for potential referrers, you can automatically enroll them in your referral program via Upload, CRM integration, Zapier, Webhooks, or API.

Once you've added your contacts to your referral program, you can deliver their unique referral link straight into their inbox, making it super easy for them to start referring their friends and spreading the word about you πŸš€

There are two convenient places inside Referral Factory where you can easily email your contacts their unique referral links.

1. Inside the Campaign Builder, on the Promote tab:

β†’ Name your email.

β†’ Click Next.

πŸ’‘ Every email you create will be automatically saved so that you can use it again in the future. This is why it's important to give it a descriptive name so you can recognize it later on.

β†’ Select who you want to email.

πŸ’‘ Not sure who to choose? If you're only just launching your referral program, you should choose "Send an email to all users in this campaign". If you want to learn more about what we mean by users, this is a good place to start:

β†’ Select the design for your email. You can use the same design as your campaign; create a new design; or send a simple text-only email.

Use the same design as your campaign

If you prefer to use the same design as your campaign for your email, simply select this option and you will be directed to the email builder where you can easily add your content. This saves you time and ensures consistency in your branding.

Create a new design

If you want to create a completely new design for your email, you can choose this option. Once selected, you'll be directed to a design modal where you can customize the appearance of your email. You can choose from a variety of pre-built themes or use the advanced settings to further customize your email's design.

Send simple text-only emails

If you want a simple and no-frills email, this option is perfect for you. You can easily edit the text of your email and apply basic text formatting like bold, italic, or different colors by just highlighting the text.

On the left-hand side of the text-only email builder, you can also see what dynamic variables are available to you to personalize your email. Be sure to include the variable for "Referral Link".

πŸ’‘ Before sending your email to your contacts, it's a great idea to use the Send Test Email button to send yourself a copy of the email. This way, you can double-check that everything looks and works correctly before your contacts receive it. It's always better to catch any mistakes beforehand and ensure that your email is perfect!
